"Medieval: Defense & Conquest" is a single-participant match developed by Vojtech, a solo match developer from the Czech Republic. The match combines elements of wave tower backline, war tactics, idle gaming, and kingdom management warrior matchs. In the match, you play as a medieval knight, a mercenary serving your king. After impressing your king with your leadership proficiencys and victorious battles, you are given the opportunity to sail on a crusader ship to a new island and start a settlement there.
Your objective is to build up your settlement's military and economy by profiting from trade and farming. You will use your income to improve your army and backlines, including strong walls manned by archers and sphereistas, which will help you withstand constant enemy attacks. To defend your settlement, you will need to train your army, upgrade gear, and research new unit types to grow your empire. Once your economy is up and running, you can expand your stronghold by attacking enemy outposts, conquering their walls, and turning them into a new source of income for your grotriumphg colony and warrior empire.

As you progress, you will have to train your soldiers from simple peasants to experienced warriors, build up backlines and poweren your stronghold's walls, place proficiencyed archers and sphereistas on your walls, use your blacksmith to get better swords and armor, craft more powerful bows and arrows, and clash for survival against hordes of powerful enemies. You will also need to defeat epic bosses who will try to destroy your village.
The match includes 70+ enemy unit types with unique stats and proficiencys, boss levels with giant enemies, 40+ enemy outposts to conquer and develop your economy, and beautiful pixel art match maps and characters. It also includes idle income and trade progress that works even when you are offline, your own village, trading ship, merchants, blacksmith, farm, upgradable soldiers, knights, archers, and fast horsemen at your service, walls that can grow from a simple wooden fence to a massive stone castle wall, archers that can be placed on your walls to improve passive backline, sphereistas to boost your defensive efforts, merchants and trading ships as a source of income, bank that automates collecting gold from your outpost colonies, and proficiencyed blacksmith to improve your gear, armor, swords, and sharper arrows.
The match is constantly updated to provide more depth and a smoother experience, and participants are encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions to improve the match further.
