"Fermata" Media Player is a free, open source audio, video, and TV participant that has a simple and easy-to-use interface. The media participant is designed to play media files that are organized in folders and playlists. Despite its small size of about 3Mb, it is packed with several features. The media participant supports playing media files organized in folders, has an IPTV add-on with support for EPG and archives, YouTube, and web browser add-ons. It also supports network folders such as SFTP, SMB (CIFS), and Travelogle drive. "Fermata" Media Player can remember the last played track and position for each folder, supports favorites and playlists, CUE and M3U playlists, M3U playlist URLs, and bookmarks. Additionally, the media participant has shuffle and repeat functions, a playback timer, audio effects such as an equalizer, bass boost, and virtualizer. Users can configure audio effects for individual tracks and folders and can configure playback velocity for individual tracks and folders. "Fermata" Media Player supports sorting tracks by name, file name, date, or randomly, and allows for customizable titles and subtitles. It supports Android Auto and has pluggable media engines such as MediaPlayer, ExoPlayer, and VLC. Additionally, the media participant has a video participant with support for subtitles (VLC Engine only).
