The VAEARA'I, a passenger and freight ship that services Moorea and the Leeward Islands, has launched an iPhone application for its regular and non-regular passengers. With the app, passengers can receive push notifications about delays and other important information about the VAEARA'I. The app also allows users to access timetables for the Tahiti Moorea service, a calendar of the next planned trips to the ISLVs, and information about the opening hours of counters, prices, and promotions. Additionally, the app can be used temporarily without an internet connection, with information being stored and resynchronized each time the app is connected to the internet.
